Chris Barrett 1:46 pm - 30th August:

I just turned 50 and my friends and family threw a great party for me complete with a tribute video. I am blessed beyond measure with people who love me. I’ve made some progress in learning to believe in that love, but still fight letting people be that close. Every encounter I’ve had with Jesus that has ever changed me was because of the disarming and overwhelming experience of being loved more deeply than I imagined possible. As we confess here our brokenness, I would encourage anyone whose heart is stirred by music or story to go to httP;//www.youtube.com/creatorarts and watch Jason Gray talk about and sing “The Golden Boy & The Prodigal” and “I Am New”. Each time I watch, I am reminded of how big grace is.

Sometimes I know all my secrets and shame are not well-known to others, so I can live a lie. But, because of a loving community surrounding me, I find that my secrets aren’t as secret as I thought, and others still love me. My deepest fear suddenly is impotent – they knew and loved me anyway.

I applaud the courage each of you have shown in confessing. There is healing for us and love is not conditional as we often believe it is.

powerful, Anne. thank you for sharing. you are able to cut through much of what seems to get in the way. I pray this book will free more people to experience God in real ways. wow…

Javier G Madrigal 1:28 pm - 9th September:

These are really fucking sad. Like ~really~.

Jr 7:22 am - 20th October:

I work for a church and feel the church is killing Christ all over again…….and if they pause for a moment and turn from killing Christ, it’s only to strangle the life out of others, the wounded, those in need of hope, and especially those who serve………
